It’s been another successful year here at base property specialists, and we’re extremely proud to announce that we have been shortlisted at The Negotiator Awards 2013. Our shortlisting is in the Innovator of the Year and Best Small Lettings Agency (1-5 branches) categories, both of which are UK wide – a very impressive feat for a fairly small company such as ourselves.

We are extremely honoured to be shortlisted for the awards and will be competing against some respected brands from across the country. In the Innovator of the Year category we find ourselves against huge brands like Foxtons who have over 45 offices and recently floated on the stock market for £790m, and Countrywide who have around 1,300 offices nationwide, selling 1 in 11 homes in the UK with a profit of £22m! It’s a real David Vs Goliath achievement!

In the Best Small Lettings Agency category, we will be competing against EJ Harris, Homes4U, Putterills and much more.

The Negotiator Awards 2013 will take place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Tuesday 5^th November 2013. The awards will be judged by a panel of industry specialists and previous winners which include Bill McClintock from the Property Ombudsman and Peter Bolton King from RICS. The event will feature a champagne reception and dinner.  It is also being hosted by Hugh Dennis, the star of Outnumbered and Mock The Week. Rounding off a brilliant 12 months

The last 12 months have been very successful for base, we were shortlisted for the ‘Best UK Estate Agent Website at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2012 and then we finished third in the Best North London Letting Agency category at the ESTAS 2013. If that wasn’t enough, we were also shortlisted in The Sunday Times London Letting Agency of the Year Awards 2013.

Everyone at base would like to offer our thanks to everybody who has contributed to our continued success and growth. We recognise that without our tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers we wouldn’t be where we are today.
