This time of year can induce feelings of longing for better weather, wearing less layers & being able to be more ‘outdoorsy’. For some of us, we are focusing on not only the warmer weather, but, the month of May. Why? Because that’s when we get to attend The ESTAS! The ESTAS is the only industry awards decided entirely by the votes of paying clients and recent customers (tenants & buyers). Base first entered the awards back in 2010 with a view to benchmark ourselves against the very best in the industry and to better understand our client experience. We received our first ‘shortlist’ in 2011 and have been shortlisted every year since. Since 2013, we have won at least one award every year. In 2015, The ESTAS launched a new ‘Tenants’ category- this was very exciting for base as the Tenant journey was a critical focus of our business from day one. Since the category opened, we have won every consecutive year. To top that all off, we are the only agent in the history of The ESTAS to win a UK Grand Prix Award at 4 different awards!

So, with 19 ESTAS awards already on our table of pride, what are we short listed for this year?

• Best Letting Agent as voted by our landlords in London

• Best Letting Agent as voted by our tenants in London

• Zoopla Xcellence Award- best agents of the last decade

Possibly the most exciting news is being one of just 18 letting agents across the UK to be shortlisted for the inaugural Zoopla Xcellence Awards!  These unique awards celebrate 10 years of Zoopla sponsoring The ESTAS- the agents shortlisted have the highest cumulative scores of the last decade. With just 3 Xcellence Awards up for grabs (Gold, Silver & Bronze) this is a highly competitive category and, for the winners, will be a huge badge of honour.
