Expert Marketing Materials- photos & floorplans
We only ever engage freelance experts to undertake the photography of each and every listing we take on. Each property is visited, photographed and only the best images taken make it through selection and editing for our final marketing. We also create floorplans for every listing as tenants and buyers alike understandably expect this.
In 2016 base was one of the, if not the, first UK Estate Agent to offer Virtual Tours on every property listing (lettings and sales) completely free of charge. Virtual Tours enable those looking online to experience the property in a ‘google streetmap’-like experience or they can fully immerse themselves in a Virtual Tour using a headset such as Google Cardboard or VR SHINECON. Rightmove & Zoopla premium products
Rightmove, Zoopla & Primelocation are the largest and most effective property portals in the UK. As such, all of our listings are promoted across both of these sites to ensure they reach the widest possible audience. The properties are also shared through affiliate partners (more on this later). To ensure that our properties get the best possible marketing results we regularly use ‘Featured Property’ and ‘Premium Listing’ products (entirely at our own expense) to maximise the efficiency of our marketing. The products (which are usually larger, highlighted and show additional images) typically generate around 30% more interest than a standard listing. Here are some examples:

Cutting-Edge Website & Software
This website was developed by industry experts Resource Techniques and is at the forefront of responsive design for agency websites. Responsive websites are vital as this means that they adapt according to the device you are viewing them on to create the best experience whatever screen size. With over 50% of all traffic now mobile (smartphones & tablets) this is vital. This website was launched early in 2017.
Base is also supported by Jupix, Property File and MoveIT which are leading industry products provided by ZPG (Zoopla Property Group). These products enable us to instantly market our listings to our extensive database through email and text to ensure your properties are put in front of the right people instantly. Using the best PropTech products around enables base to constantly remain at the forefront of industry innovation and technology.
Base was one of the first Estate Agents in the UK to recognise the importance Social Media was going to play in an agent’s ability to communicate with its target market. Social Media is an ever-evolving strategy searching for the perfect balance of social engagement whilst managing to leverage commercial opportunities.
Base have engaged with some of the industry’s leading experts in this field, specifically through the PropTech environment, partnering with companies like Brief Your Market and Mindworking to ensure we can deliver comprehensive campaigns and track essential data and results.
Through our partnerships with Brief Your Market and Mindworking we are able to generate extremely targeted marketing campaigns. This could be a flyer/mailshot campaign targeting a suitable income bracket with a certain proximity of a listing- promoting a property for sale or let.
Alternatively, and often in conjunction with a mailshot campaign, we can also create incredibly targeted Social Media campaigns to ensure that a property gets seen by a finely tuned and refined demographic ensuring all properties get maximum exposure across all marketing platforms.
Our offices, located in the heart of Shoreditch Triangle, also benefit from street frontage. This enables us to promote properties within our illuminated window display 24/7/365 to the vast foot traffic that passes our offices 7 days a week. With limited availability we cannot display every property we list- as such we typically prioritise the listings most local to our office location.
