Set against a backdrop of sun-drenched vineyards and nestled in the Surrey countryside, the new venue brought a fresh energy to this much-loved industry event. With its light-filled conservatory space, private courtyard, and space for a live band, the setting was every bit as impressive as the company.
The evening kicked off with a warm welcome from David Newnes, followed by the always-brilliant Amy Shields, who hosted the charity awards. This year, ten awards were handed out to some of the most generous and community-minded individuals and companies in our industry, including the newly introduced Industry Collaboration Award, which went to Women in Estate Agency.
One win especially close to home was that of Michelle England of PVS Media, who took home Best Individual Fundraise for her brave and bold ‘Brave the Shave’ campaign - raising over £4,000. As Kristjan put it:
“It was fantastic to see Michelle England of PVS walk away with the award for Best Individual Fundraise. They smashed their big goal of £3,500—raising a fantastic £4,190!”
An echoed the sentiment in her own reflection:
“Despite facing incredibly tough times over the last year, she showed remarkable courage and solidarity by shaving her head to raise awareness and support . She now rocks a fierce pixie cut, and we couldn’t be more inspired by her strength and spirit.”
The charity auction and raffle raised a whopping £35,000 in support of St Mungo’s, helping to provide vital support for people experiencing homelessness. (Side note: we may have accidentally-on-purpose won a corporate box at Newcastle Racecourse...)
The night wrapped up with live music, flowing wine, and a dancefloor that rarely emptied - Kristjan spent at least two hours solid on it (we believe him).
All in all, it was another top-tier evening that reminded us of the best side of our sector: generosity, community, and a good boogie. Massive props to Yvonne and Vikki at Agents Giving for pulling off another flawless event.
Here’s to 2026 🍷💃
