The Times & The Sunday Times - Letting Agency of the Year Awards 2016 – Customer Service

LAOTY 2016 Bronze.pngJune saw us attend one of the largest events in the Industry calendar- The Letting Agent of the Year Awards 2016 - in Partnership with The Times & The Sunday Times.

The awards, held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, are attended by the brightest and the best from our industry from across the UK. Entrants are entitled to enter as many categories as they qualify for- submitting a detailed entry limited to 1500 words. Some categories (such as lettings operations) are regional (with national prizes on offer too) other 'specialist' categories (such as Customer Service, Property Management, Marketing and so on) are judged on a nationwide basis.

Through a gruelling process, these entries are then reduced to a shortlist by a panel of industry experts from all sectors- figurehead agents to regulators, commentators and industry suppliers. Those fortunate enough to pass this initial stage are then required to undertake a comprehensive telephone interview with an allocated judge. Not only is this a chance to clarify anything you want but it is also a chance for the judge to really dig down in to the finer details of the company.

Those that make the 'final selection' are then debated, by the whole panel, to decide who (if anyone) should receive a shortlist, bronze, silver or gold award. However no awards are guranteed- if the judges feel no one deserves an awards- no one gets one!

Having made it through such a detailed process we were therefore delighted to have our Customer Service standards recognised as one of the finest in the UK- taking the Bronze award in this national category.

A humbling moment and another nice trophy for our office. We are already hard at work figuring out how to improve this next year.

So, if you're tired of being disappointed by the service you get from your existing London Letting Agent maybe it's time you gave base a try? Give our friendly office staff a call on 020 7033 1901.
