What you need to know about renting in Bethnal Green

Bethnal Green might be the best kept secret when renting in East London. Often over-looked by those looking to rent in Shoreditch or further afield like Mile End, Vicky Park or Hackney- Bethnal Green is a great hub for the East....and the rents aren't bad either!

With both Central Line & Overground stations, not to mention a myriad of bus routes & Boris-bike depots, Bethnal Green is excellently connected to everything a Londoner could want. A city fringe-location it has, so far, avoided the luxury gentrification of Shoreditch and instead offers a truly diverse (economically, racially and religiously) community.

Prices are much more affordable than they are a 10-15 minute walk in to town yet there are hidden gems to explore round almost every corner. There is the V&A Museum of Childhood or events at York Hall- offering everything from boxing matches to vintage furniture fairs to comic con events; amazing restaurants abound such as Resident, the typing room or the Sebright Arms; great cafes such as The CommonHackney coffee co and the Gallery cafe; get your cuts at The Canaryrocket barbers or HURWUNDEKI. I could go on.

That's before you even look at things just 10-15 mins away such as Broadway Market, London Fields, Vicky park, the canal, Hackney Empire and so much more. In short- it's got everything most could want or need in London.

Much like everything else in Bethnal Green, the rental market is equally diverse. You'll find everything from scruffy exla studios to brand new penthouses, from Victorian live/work spaces to Edwardian terraced houses. Homes for students, artists, families, entrepreneurs,  city grafters and city slickers alike. Prices will vary from as little as £150 pw in a flat share to around £2500 pw for a penthouse.

If you're a tenant on the search, you need to include Bethnal Green if you want to live in East London.

If you're a Landlord, then maybe you need an agent that's not only multi award winning (and just up the road) but is also passionate about its diversity & community surrounding your property?

Either way- why not get in touch? We do things no other letting agent in the UK does- making our Landlords and Tenants some of the happiest there are. Maybe it's time you joined them?
