What have you done today to make you feel proud?
As a boutique independent letting agent in the heart of Shoreditch, nothing gives us satisfaction like praiseworthy client feedback. This week we are proud to have helped a tenant with a smooth transition into his new home. Unbeknown to Base, this particular client has his own business consultancy focusing on efficiency and mindfulness. This particular client was so impressed with the convenience and efficiency of how we work, that he has decided to do his own case study on Base Property Specialists. There aren’t many things that trump client feedback but a case study definitely does just that!
Another great outcome from this week was when we were able to help some new tenants with an interim bill that they were wrongly charged for. Luckily, we were able to help mediate this and correct the amount charged saving the tenants £170.
So, what is it that we do that makes the process so easy?
We believe in convenience at Base and pride ourselves on the digital approach (otherwise known as proptech) we have to letting and property. We have a paperless process for tenants which allows them to access all of the vital documents through their phone or laptop. We send all of our contracts through DocuSign and even after they have moved in we have an app called PropertyFile for any property queries (granted your property is managed through Base). Of course, our landlords matter too. For them we have an online portal that allows them to send us any queries regardless whether they have properties directly managed by Base or not. Not only are we helping to save the trees one step at a time, but also making the process of property & letting queries smoother than ever before.

There is a lot more to Base than our digital technicalities. We’re multifaceted which means we are able to really assist tenants and landlords in times of need. These services can include next day furniture, interior design & refurbishment, property maintenance, property finance, professional inventories for all types of accommodation, base/ic emergency appliances and property life skill advice for tenants (or what we call Maintenants). With customer service being the heart of what we do here, we try to assist in every way possible. Luckily for us, our client feedback reflects the hard work and effort we put in every day.
