Meet the team: Introducing Annie!
As a small company, staff turnover is rare. That's why we are always excited to welcome a new member to the team, and this is no exception!
Annie has stepped into the admin role at base and taken it under her wing with no faff and no fuss. Bringing more than half a decade of experience in property and lettings to the team, she is a bright and personable energy and so we decided to grill her with some questions to get to know her just a little bit better!
For the benefit of anyone who doesn't know you yet, how would you describe yourself in three words?
Funny, Sarcastic and Approachable
How has your journey in the property industry been so far?
I’ve had a pretty good ride so far, my second ever job was in property when I was 20 so I’ve grown a lot from when I first started, lots of changes in legislation along the way but over all a pretty smooth ride!
Casting your mind back to when you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A vet - I love animals more than people, even when I was a child! Growing up we always had pets so I think that was a major influence.
What secret skill do you have that people might not know about?
I was a make-up artist for a while outside of work.
Who in the world (present day or in the past) would you be most interested in swapping places with for a day?
Kanye West - he's one of the richest people in the world and completely insane... it would definitely be fun!
If you could have any superpower, which one would you choose?
Invisibility, because I could then go under the radar and be unbothered by the normal hustle and bustle.
As someone who was born and raised in London, which is your favourite area, and what is your favourite thing about our great capital?
East London, because it's my home! And probably that there's always a way to travel home, even in the early hours ;-)
Be it a film, song, food or anything else; what's your guilty pleasure?
I hate musicals... but love The Nightmare Before Christmas - I watch it twice a year on Halloween and Christmas
How do you like to spend your time when you aren't working?
Sleeping, eating or drinking!
Who, or what, inspires you?
My Mum - she works 3 jobs and just never switches off!
Welcome to the gang Annie! If you are one of our landlords or tenants, you will no doubt deal with Annie at either the start or the end of a tenancy, as she guides you through the necessary steps of letting your flat, or getting moved in and out of a property.
