BTL Deals of the Week #21 - with a couple of fixer-uppers in this week’s choice!

Looking for a quality investment can be a bit overwhelming. That's why in this week's Buy To Let Deals video, Kristjan is breaking it down for us by reviewing three listings, all in different price ranges: up to £500k, £500-750k, and £750-1m. So, whether you're a first-time investor or a seasoned pro, you'll find something that fits your budget.
This week’s first property is located in the fantastic Candy Wharf development, adjacent to both the canal and park. This apartment boasts a good internal space, a private balcony, amazing communal roof terrace, and underground parking. A modern interior and furnishing could increase its rent to £1750-1900 per month.
The second listing is a 3-bed garden maisonette, currently an auction property with a spacious period property in a highly desirable location with a large garden. A modern and stylish refurbishment could bring in £3500-4k per month.
Lastly, a spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom freehold house is located in a gated development in SE16. With a contemporary redesign, this property could achieve around £4k per month.

Up to £500k
Bow, E3 - Keatons - https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/64527961/
Located in the fantastic Candy Wharf development this apartment has it all - next to both the canal and park, located on a dead-end access road, good internal space, private balcony and amazing communal roof terrace and underground parking. Personally, I’d recommend an update of the interior and be prepared to furnish it but marketed right this should achieve £1750-1900 per month. Lease is good at 109 years however do be aware Service Charges are higher than average at just under £3900 per annum.
£500-750k
Victoria Park Village, Hackney, E9 - McHugh & Co - https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/64541029/
This 3-bed garden maisonette is a great opportunity for those not afraid to roll up their sleeves. It is an auction property (online auction 23rd May)- so the final sale price is, as yet, unclear. What is clear is that this is a spacious period property in a highly desirable location with a large garden. Refurbish this property into a modern and stylish 3 bedroom and I see no reason why this can’t bring in £3500-4k per month. Freehold ownership of the building generating £200 a year Ground Rent from the 1st floor flat.
£750k-1m
Surrey Quays, SE16 - Robinson Jackson - https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/64540304/
Another property for those not afraid of a project. This time, located in a gated development in SE16 excellently located this spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom freehold house is ready to be reinvented. Refurbishing this to the latest design standards I see no reason why this property can’t achieve around £4k per month if done right.
