We know that one of the greatest fears a Landlord has is the security of rental payments from the Tenants a Letting Agent places for them. That is why, here at base, we have always taken a fastidious approach to vetting our Tenants- and it has paid off.

Since we launched in 2004, as a result of our in-house processes, we have had just 7 incidents of rent arrears across our entire Rental Portfolio (let Only & Fully Managed properties). Not only that but (as of 01/07/2017) only 1 of those cases remains ongoing and unsettled- with all others reconciled and, in almost every instance, without any need to involve the courts.

To further strengthen our offering, in 2015 we decided to include a FREE ‘Rent & Legal Expenses Warranty’ (with up to 6 months’ rent arrears cover and £100,000 legal cover to regain Vacant Possession) in all of our Let & Fully Managed Tenancies (subject to qualifying criteria)- just to be on the safe side!
