Bring a bag full of unwanted clothes, accessories and shoes in good condition to this event, and fill it with whatever you might fancy! No rules, no limits, no money, – just swapping! All remaining clothes will be given to TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) for “upcycling”. TRAID collects the UK public’s unwanted clothes for reuse and resale in their charity shops. Reusing textiles rather than throwing them away shrinks waste, our carbon footprint and consumption. In the developing world, funds raised support projects fighting global poverty, exploitation and environmental degradation across the textile supply chain. So dig out your clothes which no longer fit, or those items you know deep down you will never wear again and bring them down! And if you don’t want to swap, donations are also welcome!
Everyone is invited and entrance is free.
